PLASTICS is forming a Bioplastics Working Group to help develop a formal policy position that supports innovation, responsible growth, and practical implementation across the bioplastics sector.

This group will help ensure policies are:

  • Practical and workable for industry
  •  Aligned with scientific standards and market realities 
  •  Supportive of innovation and investment 
  •  Informed by real-world manufacturing and commercial experience 

👥 Who Should Participate

This working group is ideal for members involved in:

  •  Bioplastic resin production or material development 
  •  Manufacturing or product integration using bioplastics 
  •  Sustainability, compliance, or regulatory strategy 
  •  Public policy or government affairs 
  •  Standards, labeling, or end-of-life systems
